Technical FAQ

All our HCP antibodies are generated from the best immunized goats. We achieved >98% overall coverage and >95% coverage in each quadrant. In contrast, the HCP antibody coverage of other vendors had a lower overall coverage and even lower coverage of low molecular weight (LMW) HCP proteins (see an example).

Yes.  We have >95% coverage for LMW HCP proteins (see an example).

Yes. Our anti-HEK 293 HCP antibodies have >95% coverage of HCPs from other human cell lines: CAP cells (> 95%) and Per.C6 cells ( > 95%) etc (data available upon request). In general, it can be used as anti-HCP antibody for the other human cell lines.

Yes. Our anti-CHO HCP antibody has been tested against different CHO cell strains including CHO-S, CHO-K1, CHO-GS and CHO-DG44. All showed over 95% antibody coverage of both high & low molecular weight HCP proteins.

Yes. It has >95% coverage of both high and low molecular weight E.coli proteins.

Serum is the authentic pool of anti-HCP antibodies including all immunoglobulin subtypes and all weak/strong  antibodies. In contrast, IgG fraction miss some subclass antibodies such as IgA, IgD, IgE, IgM, etc. The antigen affinity purified antibody may loss some antibodies during the affinity purification process. In general, the anti-serum has the best HCP coverage.

Yes. We offer HCP antibody coverage by 2D Western Blot. Customers can use our services to test the coverage of HCP antibodies made by Applied Biomics, other vendors or your in-house antibody.

Please provide the following info: catalog number, quantity, contact name, organization, email. After your account is set up, you will typically provide the additional info: shipping address, billing address, purchase order / credit card authorization.
  • Bulk Orders / Questions: use our Bulk Order form or our Contact Form.
  • PO Orders: quotes are valid for 30 days and the payment terms are net 30.

Shipping

  • Applied Biomics uses FedEx overnight for most product shipping. Shipping costs are calculated at checkout and are based on your location & the size / quantity of the product.
  • Temperature: products ship at room temperature, or with an ice pack.
  • Storage: see product information

Returns

  • Some products are not returnable / refundable.
  • Some products can be returned within 20 days from the date of delivery, if the item is unused, unopened, and in original packaging. Please contact return@appliedbiomics.com to obtain return authorization before returning any products.
  • Returns are subject to a restocking fee of 20% of the purchase price.
